SJS Cheer Team Sign Up (Gr. 5-8)
The Saint James School 2026-2027 Cheer Team is open to students 5th – 8th grade.
Deadline for all required forms is OCTOBER 15TH; Please send to the main office the following:
2) 2026-2027 Athletics Health Permission Form (signed by the participant’s doctor and only if you did not submit one earlier this school year – cross country runners do not need to submit a new form)
3) Activity Fee (see form)
4) SJS Athletics Character Contract (signed by both the parent and the student)
Cheer practice will begin on Wednesday, November 4th (hopefully right after school) and run through February. We are in need of at least one additional parent volunteer to assist our head coach (no cheer/coaching experience needed). We may need to move the time of practice depending on additional volunteer support for this team.
The team will cheer at various Varsity and JV basketball games throughout the season (sideline cheering and half-time routines).
