Last week, Saint James School K – 8th grade students participated in the worldwide initiative, #HourOfCode2025, in honor of Computer Science Education Week. The theme this year was “Hour of AI” with the intention of helping students better understand what AI can do and how it works.  Kindergarten – 4th grade students participated in activities and games that focused on how AI can learn information by being trained to recognize patters.  Fifth – 8th grade students coded and played games that focus on Generative AI and facial recognition.  Special thanks to our school’s STREAM Teacher, Mrs. Poth, for organizing age-appropriate sessions for all our students and sharing some pictures!
