SJS 4th grade students recently completed a research project on an assigned sea creature. In addition to researching/writing their report at school, for homework, students were tasked with creating a model of their animal using recyclable materials and/or craft items.

Yesterday morning, the 4th graders presented an overview of their research to students and teachers in the younger grades, including Pre-K.

Using reference books from the school library as well as approved online sources, students wrote their eight-paragraph research report in their best cursive handwriting. They also had class time to create a watercolor illustration of their animal for the report cover.
