A HUGE congratulations to the SJS Girls Varsity Basketball Team on an incredible 2nd place finish in the State Tournament this past weekend!

Coming off an undefeated regular season, the girls played their way into the State Championship game on Sunday afternoon.

Although they came up a bit short against St. Lawrence of West Haven in the finals, the Sabers played with heart and determination making our community incredibly proud. Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer them on last night!

Of course, a great big shout out to our volunteer coaches, for their dedication and exceptional leadership throughout the season!

The team will now go on to play in the New England Tournament this weekend. Best of luck Sabers!!
