IMPORTANT: Arrival & Dismissal Reminders

The Saint James School administration wishes to share following reminders with regards to school arrival & dismissal:

* Anywhere that we have placed orange cones in the road on Otis and Park street are NO PARKING/NO DROP zones.  These areas are coned off primarily to help the line of sight for the crossing guards and traffic.  Please be respectful of this.

* Never park your car in a way that blocks any of our neighbors’ driveways.  We appreciate and respect our relationship with those living around our school.

* Do not pull into, or park in, a blocked-off school parking lot.

* Students and parents are asked to ALWAYS cross at the cross walk, and with the guidance of the crossing guard when they are on duty.

* Remember, at K-8 arrival the whole front of the school area is intended for quick drop and go.  If a parent needs to get out of the car for any reason – or your student needs a few more minutes – the Pre-K parking lot has plenty of space in the mornings.

* We still have many students running in at the last minute or coming to school tardy on a too-frequent basis.  If this sounds familiar, please help your child start their day off right in this new year (and not disrupt morning announcements & prayers) by starting your morning routine 10 – 15 minutes earlier.

We appreciate your full support with regards to school policies.  Please share this information with anyone who helps with transportation for your student(s).
